5^th racing weekend of the season

Upcoming weekend in Salzburg will be full of racing again. Salzburgring will host race 9 and 10 of TCR International Series 2016. TCR will not come so close to Slovakia this year again, so we would like to invite all the fans to come and enjoy great racing!

This high-speed track lies in the beautiful countryside of the Austrian Alps. This circuit is one the most demanding circuit for the drivers because its combination of long straights and fast corners with a tricky chicane always results in significant wear of the front left tire.

Mato’s season has a very good direction after last race in Imola: “After being three times on the fourth place I have finally succeeded to finish the race on the podium. I was second in the race 2 of the weekend in Imola, what is great. I hope, that this is just a beginning of an upcoming podium string!”, said Mato after the race.

Mato is on 5th position in the overall ranking of the season, with just 8 points to the 3rd, Gianni Morbidelli. “The distance from the 3rd position is really small, but the season is not even in its half. I don’t want to say, what if… I start on 100% to each race and I want to win. But it’s not only about the speed. You need to be lucky as well.”
