Mato Homola will race in Malaysia this weekend, on the penultimate race weekend of the TCR 2016

Here we are, just two weeks after the race in Singapore, the TCR International Series continues in Malaysia, on the penultimate race weekend of the season. Just as in Singapore, TCR will be one of the support races of the Formula 1, this time on famous Sepang Circuit.
Last racing weekend in Singapore was very successful for Mato Homola, as he managed to be the 3rd best scorer of the weekend, what brings also one drawback. “Thanks to the fact, that I had the 3rd best score of the weekend, my car will carry in Sepang 10 kg of a Success ballast. I am still positive, even though I will be the heaviest SEAT out there.”
Mato confirmed in Singapore, that he belongs to the top of the TCR International Series and he returned to the TOP 5. “I’m happy to be back there. There is still a chance to end the season in TOP 3. As last year in TCR, everything will be decided in Macao.”
As in Singapore, also in Sepang, the drivers will need to find the best settings and to get to know the track in one Free Practice session only, followed by the Qualifying. This is the price paid for being a support race for the F1 weekend, as there will be also GP2 and GP3 series and really tight schedule. “The program is shortened again and the practice session will even have only 30 minutes. This is a pity on one side, but on the other hand, it’s great to race alongside the F1 and on this track. It is really tricky circuit, but I am really looking forward to race there!”
