Mao Homola races this weekend in TCR in Germany

After a 3-week break, Mate Homola continues in the TCR International Series on German circuit Oschersleben. After pretty successful Salzburgring Race 1, where we finished on P2 and earned more championship points than in the overall challenging 2017 season, he would like to carry on with earning points in Germany.
“So the last time I raced here, I won,” remembered almost 23-year old Slovak race driver. “And therefore, I have the best possible memories of this circuit, and I believe I will succeed again. I’m saying that because we were surprised that our car worked so well on a slow circuit as Hungaroring, and I could prove the car to be competitive. I hope that together with my engineers we gonna find a good setup so we can grab championship points. We need them, the season is in a middle and I want to get close to TOP 5.“
Mato’s engineers and mechanics from DG Sport Compétition won’t have a great load of time available for the setup. That’s because the weekend at Oschersleben has a very tight schedule: Free practice 1 will start on Saturday morning at 9:00 AM and the second one happen afterward. Then at 3:00 PM the 2 round qualifying will take place and this will be the time to choose the top 10 best drivers (which will start in race 2 in reversed grid)
Qualifying, as well as both races on Sunday (Race 1 at 12:30 PM and Race 2 2:30 PM), will be live on tcr-series.tv. Sport TV will air both races at on Sunday 6:00 PM
